TeaTime Vintage

With a love for living slow and spending time enjoying the ride, join Teatime Vintage on their journey to savour the finer things in life…tea & cake!

It all started as a website hiring out the vintage china and props Julie and Andy had collected for their wedding back in 2011.  One thing led to another and they soon began to deliver a pop-up vintage tea room at Vintage Fairs and Farmers Markets.  Since then they have built up an external catering business alongside the china and prop hire and they now offer event design, styling and afternoon tea catering, for weddings and other celebrations, and more recently also for corporate events.

A year ago they opened the doors of their very own tea room in Totley, which offers a warm welcome, a wide range of loose leaf teas and delicious homemade seasonal food including their fabulous Afternoon Tea’s.  With a rustic take on vintage – think bare brick walls, rough wood finishes and mismatched vintage furniture – the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing.

As lovers of all things local, Julie has been able to collaborate with some amazing local artisans who sell their wares in the tea room providing a wonderful range of gifts and homewares..

On the Friday and Saturday of the second weekend in each month, The Gin Palace gin wagon pulls up on to the tea room drive offering an amazing range of botanical flavoured gins.  During the gin wagon visits, a seasonal afternoon tea with a different menu each month is served alongside four different gins which are carefully selected to compliment the menu. Gin and cake – what’s not to love?

On Wednesday evenings you are invited to ‘get your CRAFT on’ at Craft Club. £5.00 entry which is redeemable against anything on the menu and bring your own craft.  A great opportunity to get creative with like minded others.

Like us they’re advocates of ‘slow living’ and all that it brings, not rushing through life but taking time to show an appreciation of nature and the world in which we live. They want their business to reflect this approach and to allow people who visit the tea room to feel relaxed and not rushed.  They invite you to slow down and enjoy a cuppa with them.
