ILLUMINATE THE GARDENS IS A FIREWORKS AND LIGHTING EXTRAVAGANZA THAT TAKES PLACE AT SHEFFIELD BOTANICAL GARDENS ON BONFIRE NIGHT WEEKEND (3RD, 4TH AND 5TH NOVEMBER). THEIR FIRST EVENT TOOK PLACE IN NOVEMBER 2017, SINCE THEN THE EVENT HAS CONTINUED TO GROW AND IS NOW SHEFFIELD'S MOST POPULAR NIGHTLIFE ATTRACTION.
With over 10 illuminated installations, walkabout performances, 2 fireworks displays and a lighting show, Illuminate The Gardens is a magical night out for the whole family.
This year's theme is Myths & Legends which will be showcased throughout the attractions situated around the gardens, along with a mesmerising laser show from the iconic glass pavilions, creating an immersive experience.
At Illuminate the Gardens you can enjoy some delicious street food or grab a drink from the licensed bar, get involved in some free kids activities, enjoy the traditional fairground rides, watch jaw-dropping fire performances, plus so much more.
If you’ve got little ones with sensitive ears, there will be a ‘low bangs’ fireworks display in the early evening, or stay later to enjoy the exhilarating main display. Of course, the real star of the show is the wonderful venue itself, experience the Botanical Gardens in all its glory with wonderful lighting highlighting some of its stunning features.
