Some of the best Sunday Roasts in Sheffield

Is there anything better than a good old hearty roast dinner? Whether you are a student who has been deprived of your mum’s roast since coming to uni, or you just fancy a Sunday treat, we have scoured the streets of Sheffield to find you the best Roast Dinners this city has to offer.

Sunday dinner, that means ‘lunch’ if you’re from outside Yorkshire.

Silversmiths

Amongst the classic former factories and the newly built university buildings, Arundel Street is a buzzing area of the city, and within it is a multi-award winning locally run restaurant called Silversmiths. Perfectly prepared Yorkshire grub accompanied by good old Yorkshire hospitality. One overarching feeling that we love about Silversmiths is that with every plate of food you eat, the chances are you’re giving a local butcher, a local farmer or a fishmonger a reason to get up in the morning, which makes every time there that little bit more special.

Silversmiths doesn’t mess around with the British Classic. Locally sourced meat, Yorkshire puddings, roasted vegetables. What more could you want? Their Locally Sourced Roast Sirloin of Beef is an absolute winner however they also offer a fish and vegetarian option catering for all. Silversmiths is much more than the just great food, we must pay homage to the experience as a whole.

It has evolved over the years from a sports bar serving up pizza and tapas, to a critically acclaimed gastro-bar with culinary finesse. After woofing down your roast dinner that will “stir up memories and excite your taste buds”, move onto some of the finest coffee Sheffield has to offer supplied by our buddies at Craft and Dough.
